Woodbridge Pacific Group (WPG) follows the January grand opening of its luxury downtown enclave of Skye with a special event that honors Palm Springs’ Modernism Week. A Gold Sponsor of this renowned celebration of mid-century modern, WPG invites the public to a reception and design tour at Skye’s model home gallery on Sunday, February 19, from 10 a.m. until noon. In creating the Skye collection, WPG Principal Todd Cunningham, Architect Samir Hannouche and their design/build team unified mid-century modern traditions with contemporary functionality and amenities. “Visual transparency is mid-century’s defining element, and ideal for Skye’s indoor/outdoor, view-oriented layouts,” said Cunningham. “Our great rooms, kitchens and master suites showcase the room dimensions, finish materials and amenities that address today’s preferences in a new luxury home.”
Priced from the $1,400,000s, Skye’s 5 designs provide 3,322 to 3,976 square feet of living space, and homesites are approximately 14,000 to 19,000 square feet. Optional spaces highlight Skye’s distinctively varied layouts. “Some buyers want a classic game room, while others want a working office; the choice of two master suites is also desirable,” said Hannouche. “Skye’s flex rooms offer additional plan customizing opportunities.”
In main activity areas, 12-foot ceilings run uninterrupted to the exterior, creating a sheltered outdoor area as a seamless extension of interior space. Floor to ceiling glass walls are actually sliding panels. “They stack to one side when you open the space for indoor/outdoor use, and virtually disappear,” said Hannouche.
Framing the 40-home enclave is a spectacular mountain backdrop. Location in downtown Palm Springs’ historic Tennis Club Neighborhood gives Skye residents walkable access to the Art Museum, Convention Center and Village Fest, while nearby trails and picnic areas offer spectacular views to the city and Tahquitz Canyon. “Classic, convenient—this location is incomparable,” said Cunningham.
The Skye Sales Gallery is located on Ramon Road west of Palm Canyon. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily; telephone 760-803-3962 to speak with Tom Laurita or Russell Vozzella, Community Sales Managers for WPG. Also see SkyePalmSprings.com
