Jeff Eittreim, WPG Division Manager for Central California, reported more than 60 city and state officials, Chamber Ambassadors and WPG team members in attendance.

Eittreim welcomed attendees, shared particulars of the Center Club and Promenade, and acknowledged all who contributed to bringing these focal amenities of Belcourt to completion. Tony Leggio, President of Bolthouse Properties, followed, commending WPG for fulfilling the Belcourt vision, and for superb execution of the Clubs design and development.

Hillary Haenes, the Chambers VP of Member Engagement, recognized Mayor Karen Goh and City Councilmember Bruce Freeman; Pam Rose for State Senator Jean Fuller; Mia Cifuentes for Assemblymember Vince Fong; Athena Skapinakis for Assemblymember Rudy Salas; and Chamber Ambassadors.

Officials presented certificates of recognition and appreciation to WPG and Bolthouse Properties for their efforts in creating the Belcourt community and the new Center Club. WPG additionally received commendations from State Senator Andy Vidaks representative.

Bakersfield Mayor Karen Goh concluded the program by presenting the Citys certificate, and doing the honors with scissors and ribbon. Eittreim and WPG team members then guided tours through the clubhouse, pool area and the landscaped grounds.

The 7,250-square foot Center Club features a fitness center, multi-purpose and community rooms, billiards room and a catering kitchen. Outside is a resort style pool and spa, a splash pad, and an expansive furnished deck. Belcourt residents can enjoy a host of indoor and outdoor activities, or come just to relax with friends and neighbors, said Eittreim.

WPG followed the ribbon cutting with the June 30 distribution of pool keys to Belcourt residents, and a July 1 public open house.I think its safe to predict that this pool will be an especially inviting spot all summer, said Eittreim. We are delighted to see this community centerpiece coming to vibrant life for residents and their guests!
